Our self-confidence is low when we constantly feel we need to prove ourselves. Or we feel we need to justify our thoughts or actions. Or when we are superstitious or religious. Or when we crave status. Or we need to be liked. Or we seek approval. Or we feel we might be doing something wrong. Or we impose ourselves on another person. Or we want things or need to do things to be okay. Or we are short or ill-tempered. Or we do things we don’t like doing.
Our quality of life is low when we don’t continuously have inner peace. For instance; we get irritable, frustrated, and angry.

If we want to raise our self-confidence what are we to do?
Acknowledge that our self-confidence and quality of life is low.
Acknowledge further that if we could we’d like to shift away from what keeps us from having self-confidence.
Acknowledge further that our inner peace is lacking.
Acknowledge further that to be okay we need things to be a certain way or we need to be doing certain things. The converse is this: When we’re okay, thus we have self-confidence and we like the things we do, because that is who we are.
Acknowledge further that we’re stuck and do not know which way to turn.
